What Type of Retail Display Do I Need for My Product?

Custom Retail Displays

by

Are you making the most out of your displays? Retail displays can help you improve your visual merchandising. Create greater marketing impact with the right visuals. If you have a shop, you can use those displays to market your inventory. Here’s a look at some options that should serve you well. Go over the list to determine which suits your product the most.

Standalone POP Display

A point-of-purchase display, also called a POP display, quickly highlights a product. There’s enough space in the display so that you can provide a brief explanation and a few examples. That works well for new items. If you’re introducing a new jacket or shoes, POP displays are an ideal way to make them stand out. Consider custom retail displays if you want to launch a few pieces from your inventory.

Dump Bins

They are easy to find and often the best way to make discounted items visible to customers. The displays aren’t often organized, with the products jumbled together. Some people find it fun to dig into the dump bins for great deals. For you, though, they make it easy to ship, distribute, or set up your inventory.

Freestanding Displays

They’re like dump bins, but you can interact with them from 360 degrees. The standalone displays are more organized than dump bins, too, and better for showing larger products on your shelves. You can also experiment with eye-catching visuals. Consider custom options, additions, or accessories to create the display you want.

Entryway Displays

Put products near your entryway. This works for bakeries, where they put up tables near the entrance and display popular items for the day. It’s also one way to encourage impulse buys. Have those displays and racks with the products ready to go. That is sure to get a few customers to try those items out. Curiosity is an excellent, motivating factor you can’t discount when appealing to consumers. Sometimes, when the price is right, people will buy it because they’re curious how it tastes or looks.

Video Displays

Video or screens are one of the most popular and eye-catching ways to market a product. You can use it in your shop to announce the season’s specials. You can also make the screen interactive, which improves engagement among your consumers. In addition, people love visuals. Most of us would much rather watch an AD than read through a short one. If you want to highlight more of the items on your shelves, use video screens or LCD monitors. They’re colorful. They’re animated. Combine both of those qualities with a witty or striking tagline or description, and you’re sure to have more people bringing those items to the counter.

Banner Stands

These are another type of standalone signage. Brands often use these stands. You can try it out, too. Use it to feature a product or share an announcement, like a contest or event. The good thing about these displays is that they’re lightweight, cost-effective, and mobile. You can move them around your shop and put them in spots where they can create the greatest impact.
