AYURVEDA has so much emphasis on our daily routine which has been kept as a part of its preventive treatment, so if you follow these basic rules you are going to keep fit and healthy

Let’s start with the ritual of getting up in the Morning.

  • So according to Ayurveda the right time to wake up in the morning is the Last Phase Of Darkness

The last phase of Darkness is termed Brahma Muhurt which is around 4 to 5.30-in the morning, This is because the mind and human body get ready to be active and to move that’s why it’s better to get up from sleep at this time. This time-lapse in Ayurveda is considered most suitable for practising Yoga and Meditation. Waking up in this time-lapse, first of all, we should clear our stomach and then clean our eyes along with face properly with water and brush efficiently hereafter, we should get ready to exercise well.

  • After exercising and yoga practising, in about half an hour One should get ready for Bathing.

Ayurveda, for the health of our organs, recommends that we should always wash our heads with cold water or at least at room temperature because hot water is not good for hair and also causes bad effects on our eyes as well as our hearts. The rest body part can be washed with hot or lukewarm water

  • Following Bathing, it has been asked to meditate,

Just as the body needs exercise so does our Brain, and our intellect is also strengthened by meditation. Meditation should always be done on an empty stomach this is because as soon as we start eating our food, the digestive system gets activated, and meanwhile, in the process of digestion, the blood supply gets busy which then in the process of meditation may not do justice to the brain.

  • Later one should take breakfast which should be done only after the sun rises

This is because as the sun rises in the sky the fire element activity in our body gets activated, the metabolic activity begins in this time-lapse and the functions of the rest of the organs become ready to accept food. Ayurveda recommends taking a light meal during breakfast which can be easily digested. This is because the digestive system was in rest mode all night, and eating a heavy breakfast can have a bad effect on the digestive system.

After having Breakfast about in half an hour one can start the work

  • According to Ayurveda one o’clock is the right time to have lunchFruits and dry fruits and stand on table

As the sun is at its peak and at its intensity at 12:30- 1 O’clock, the meal of the day at this time is accepted and digested by our body in the best way providing the highest amount of energy thus this meal should be taken in a great quantity and in a balanced way with respect to the whole day.

  • Further Emphasis has been laid in Ayurveda on evening recreational activities and Leisure time

It is recommended that every person should at least develop one such hobby that is different from daily job and work life, be it any kind of painting, art, music, dancing, playing favourite sport or any activity done with family as the Human body needs Human sense of attraction which can be fulfilled by living with family or community.

  • Coming to Night Routine,

After sunset, the digestive capacity of the body becomes very slow and that is why it is recommended that we should take dinner shortly after sunset because if we take food long after sunset, It takes too much time to process for digestion. Add pulses, lentils, and green leafy vegetables. It is good to consume more Protein and less carbs at night to keep your digestive system working well

  • As per Ayurveda, There should be a gap of at least two hours in the middle of mealtime and sleeping time

Between the time we eat our meals and the time we sleep there should be a long gap before going to bed due to which the mucus secretion happening in our body remains in control. Falling asleep immediately after a meal can be the cause of obesity and due to this, the body may increase the chances of getting many health problems and slows down the thought process too.

In light of this information, Given the Basic rules of Ayurveda and following them will start creating a huge difference in one’s physical as well as mental health, The body will start shredding its extra weight, it will start turning healthy and will be protected from disease. Moreover, it will feel energized throughout the day, and the mental state being will be peaceful as well.
