Annette used to wear an AFO made from plastic (ankle shoe orthoses) that she was wearing for a long time and was looking for something different and new. Annette uses the foot orthoses to treat her condition of drop feet. The older plastic AFO’s were causing discomfort for Annette’s feet prosthetics near me and causing difficulties with her the comfort of her feet. These issues eventually affected her daily activities and ability to perform active activities regularly and without difficulty. The trial kit gave Annette to test the device to determine whether it would be suitable for her. The results were awe-inspiring for both of the ladies! For her first objective, Annette decided to walk in a local 5k. However, Covid-19 led to the end that 5k. Although she isn’t able to be a part of an organized event, Annette hasn’t let that hinder her from participating. Annette is extremely satisfied with the overall quality and functionality of her AFO’s and is keeping active.
The AFO’s from TurboMed are significantly less uncomfortable and wearable than previous AFO’s. This allows Annette to carry out her daily tasks with more energy and less strain. The fact that she is achieving more every day has motivated Annette to a great extent! The results of the latest AFO’s has exceeded Annette’s expectations.
